Why is There a Long queue in the Indian Food Stall?

Naan and Butter Chicken
Well, the topic I'm writing about is really cool and amusing as me being an Indian I don't get my own type of food in school.Wait, what I'm saying I want you, readers to actually and literally delete the opinions I just wrote. You can also use the Neuralyzer which is used in MIB 2&3.For those who don't know what it is,it erases the memory of the individual.I'm totally digressing from the topic, this not good ,if my English teacher was reading this he would just smile at me or tear me into two parts.Let's get back to food and the queue in the Indian food stall in my school canteen. In my first month of school I have only got two chances to buy something from the Indian stall.
Surprisingly, you can only buy lunch from that stall if you have extremely good stamina or a variety of activity passes,I have only one yet!

The fact which surprises me the most is that the queue if filled with Non-Indians who are really fond to enter that particular queue.I find this quite a sentimental and patriotic for the very reason being that there are many people who dying to eat Indian food. Some insane people say that when you eat Indian food you do stupid things like the government in India. The other reason is that I being an Indian cannot eat my home cuisine.I find this happening because the people who are standing in the queue don't eat Indian food that often or love Indian delicacies.Well, this is how the queue looks like:

I'd like to finish of with a statement every Indian would do "Jai Hind".In concern of my english teacher, who is going to read this,I would just like to say just smile after reading this post and not tear me.Here's a joke page to cheer up all of you:http://www.jokes4us.com/miscellaneousjokes/worldjokes/indiajokes.html

NBA Records and The Relation with ME,Glen Varghese

The Record history of the NBA:

1.Most no.of three points shots in a
a)Game:Kobe Bryant
clipping:

b)Finals: Ray Allen
clipping:

2.Most number of blocks in a
a)Career:Hakeem Oluajwon
clipping:

b)Finals:Dwight Howard
Clipping

These are the records which just stick in my mind the most because I'm a shot blocker and fairly good 3 point shooter for my level of competitiveness. The record I have held is 8 3 pointers and 15 blocked shots.I now these are amazing and professional athletes doing their "work".Well,I personally watch these videos usually before my basketball game as I feel strongly that I get inspired and motivated after watching this video. It's always happened that I have always knock down at least 2-3 pointers and block an average of 10 shots. The interesting thing that happens after I block a shot is that I get really pumped up and adrenalized. When I block shots my coach and my teammates sitting on the bench start to trash talk with the opposition. This really distracts and demoralize them that they got blocked. All I do is just sit and stare at the official or laugh at my coach, teammates. My role model for blocking shots is LeBron James and for 3-pointers it is Kobe Bryant! You guys might be thinking that I concentrate on this two aspects, well you'r wrong I love assisting my teammates.I give confusing passes like behind the back and no look passes which confuse the defenders and, surprisingly it puzzles my teammates!!! :D

To see all of this live and in action, please watch me and my Fastbreak club play basketball games on Sunday between 1pm and 2pm in the afternoon.

McDonalds Disgusting or Phenomenal

Say no and yes to McDonald's

McDonald's

Quite an interesting and sumptuous topic right,I really wanted to this topic because I'm TOTALLY OBSESSED with McDonalds.Their burgers are amazing and mouth-watering especially their Beef burgers.Stop right there reader,I take all of my words back,I know people say that "Once you strike the Arrow, you can't take it back and have a second try.Well, coming back to the burgers I felt extremely grosteque as they way were making round eye beef, the beef McDonalds use for their burgers. They add a total of 55% of preservatives per serving of their burger. The French Fries are one of the most unhealthiest junk food found there. Not for the reason of oil, salt, etc but for its amount of preservatives. It has about  70% of preservatives!I had also watched this clipping on the "Food  Inc" channel on Netflix. This was really heart-breaking as I saw the process in which they make the patties for the burger. With this video I really felt vegetarianism is better way of leading life.If you go to McDonald's next time please check the nutritional value. This is just way McDonalds progressed until date. The second clipping is a experimentation of leaving McDonald's food in a jar for 10 weeks.

UWCSEA EAST NFL Daily-25/09/12

New England Patriots vs Baltimore Ravens

This was of the arguable matches of the week with the Baltimore Ravens winning by just a point. In the end the Ravens had a field goal and it was one the best punts and also and easy call for the officials. No,I take all of my words back and tell with lots of joy and a bit of disappointment it was a fantastic punt by a rookie. Controversially,it was one of the toughest calls for a referee but at the same time, the call was correct and fair.Immediately, left the field and chasing him was the Patriots head coach,Bill Belichick as he wanted the decision to favor his side.He had got a bit violent with the fact of touching the official. This might lead in him getting penalized with a suspension. To make things make worst for me,I'm a die hard fan of the New England Patriots.Well, bygones are bygones I can't do anything about it.

Watching NFL During Our Mentor Time

NFL In the Class

Quite a surprising fact that my mentor group, today morning was actually watching the play by play option of the NFL game online.I know it is slightly weird and flabbergasting.Wait a second, I take all my words back its was just hilarious and the situation was on tenterhooks.

NFL IN THIS CLASS!!

Well,it all started when I walked into the class and my Mentor,Mr.R said that there is a NFL game going on he was watching it online!I had totally freaked out and astonished. My mouth was totally agape and my foot was stuck to the floor in bewilderment!I was totally adrenalized with what my mentor did. What first struck my mind was that are we allowed to watch NFL during our school hours. The game was between Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders.Due to the fact that all our my friends was late to school,Luckily we watched the last quater and the game was on the line. There was a minute left only and the score was tied at 31.At the 4th second the Raiders took a timeout,at that time they were on the 20 - yard line. After the timeout the Raiders' quarterback(position). This was just the highlight of the game he played the "Safety Bait"play.Fortunately,His throw was caught in the safe hands of their wide receiver(position) and he ran for the touchdown line. This catch gave my mentor joy as he is die hard fan of the Oakland Raiders. This was just one of craziest NFL games I have seen. The final score was 31-34.

This was one most interesting things that I did as a Mentor group.I'm still waiting for more things in my mentor group.

Play Against My Old Coach in A Game Situation

It was a beautiful, carefree Sunday afternoon. It was in my schedule on Sundays to play basketball games with my club "FastBreak".The 16th of September my FastBreak club was versing a very famous and competitive opponent the "Bobcats".The Bobcats are an affiliate of the NBA team the Charlotte Bobcats. An hour before the game I mentally prepare myself and adrenalize myself so that I do not get sloppy during the game.Post to that I had gone to the nearby basketball court and practice my offense and defense, for the very fact that my club run particular sets in basketball. After 30 minutes I head back home and get school to for the game.

Once I reached the court in school I was quite startled with the fact that none of my teammates have arrived for the game.Out of the blue, my current, coach comes in and questions me why am I the earliest for the game.In the following minutes my teammates show and we start to warm up by practicing our free throws and layups. As expected my opponents the Bobcats turn in for the game.

To my astonishment, their coach(my old coach,Gabriel) turned out to be the last person to reach the game!According to me the coach is supposed to reach the venue for the game before the players. When their coach sauntered in to the sports hall,I was totally flabbergasted with the fact that he was the opponent's coach.Due to respect I had immediately rushed to him and started talking about our old team in which we worked in together named "NPSI Cobras".He was my coach for 3 years,so he has a soft corner for me.As the game started, his started with a "Bang",they aggressive throughout the game but in the end  Fastbreak won the game by 1 point .The score was 51-50 in favor of us.The major thing which both of us did during the game was trash talk a lot.We were neck to neck during the game for jawing back at each other.Actually I was mostly concentrated on thinking of a comeback after he said something.

After the shake hands,he had spoken to me and told me that I was getting better as a player since he last time he saw me.

Well this is a picture of him,I was the player who was the most disappointed when he left us,I was the nearest and closest on and off the court.

Chemical Reactivity Reflection

My Science Feedback on Chemical Reactivity

1. The last 2 things that I learned in the chemical reactivity was:
1)Carbon -14 dating
2)Balance the most complicated equations

2.The last 3 things that I'm not likely to forget are:
1)Bonding(All types)
2)Atomic numbers and Atomic masses
3)Valencies of all Basic and Complex Ions
(These things are part of long list of chemical terms which I will never forget)

3.The favorite thing that I did was the lab activity because mixing around different types of chemicals, getting my gloves and hands dirty and wet with chemicals.I think the lab activity that I did had the most number of experiments to do.(Again this is just part of a long list of things which I enjoy in Mr.Haugen's class)

4.The thing that I am still serious about is fission, fusion and nuclear reactivity.I'm also curious about blood doping and freezing.

US Elections 2012

Republican or Democrats

The Big Question ?

A real debate is emerging in America’s presidential election campaign. It is mostly about health care, jobs and taxes. More fundamentally, it is about democracy and free enterprise(outsourcing).

Democrats and Republicans appear not to be mutually reinforcing – It is hard to think of any flourishing democracy in which there is no good economy. Moreover, while a number of the economies have embraced free enterprise.

Yet it is not clear a priority why democracy and free enterprise should be mutually supportive. After all, democracy implies regarding individuals as equal and treating them as such, with every adult getting an equal vote, whereas free enterprise empowers individuals based on how much economic value they create and how much property they own.

What prevents the voter in a democracy from voting to dispossess the rich and successful. Echoes of such a tension are playing out as President Barack Obama tries to tap into middle-class anger, while former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney appeals to disgruntled businesspeople.

America’s presidential election, The recent crisis, followed by huge bailouts of financial institutions, has raised questions about how at least one segment of business – the bankers – make their money. As the misdeeds of “bankers” come to light, the system no longer seems fair.

The American Dream seems to be slipping out of reach, in part because a good education, which seems to be the passport to prosperity, is increasingly unaffordable for many in the middle class. This erodes support for the free-enterprise system.

Obama understands this, which explains his appeal to, and focus on, the middle class. He is the standard bearer for democracy.

On the other hand, successful professionals and entrepreneurs believe that they have come by their wealth legitimately. They are the working rich, and dislike the growing burden of regulations and the prospect of higher taxes. They feel like they are being blamed for their success, and they resent it. Romney understands that America’s strength relies heavily on free enterprise.

My Feedback

The one thing that I have learned in the English class is that it is a space to express yourself. In this course of time I have a number of things from the round class table to making a blog . Making a blog was one of the newest thing in any class that I have learned because the that blogging is one way that me and my friends can share our expression of thoughts. The one thing that I enjoy about this class is that I have got great teacher,Mr.Raisdana who has conducted the class in a great way and I find that we do interesting topics like free writing, making our blog, learning the history of photography.I wish we could have a dedicated time reading because it really helps us both in writing and imagination with relation with the real world.
